Getting there…

BY AIR:

Tucson international airport is located about 9 miles/14 km (~20 min drive) from the Tucson Marriott University Park (main conference location) and has a great airport information page at http://www.flytucson.com/airlines-and-flights/ .  It is an international airport with customs, but is small/mid-size.  It has direct flights within the US (see http://www.flytucson.com/airlines-and-flights/), but you will likely need to change flights if traveling internationally.

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (https://skyharbor.com/) is approximately 115 miles/185 km (~2 hour drive) from Tucson.  The airport is bigger than Tucson, with direct international flights from Canada, Mexico, and London.  Rental cars are available at the airport, or shuttle services (rates vary – check the Phoenix Airport site for details).  Greyhound bus (trip time = ~2 hr, 20 min) has a station 1/2 mile from the Phoenix airport http://locations.greyhound.com/bus-routes/destination/phoenix-az/tucson-az#fare-search with rates starting at $10 between Phoenix and Tucson.
